Even though it’s an improved 9 degrees in the fashion capital, my fingers have turned to ice lollies and the thought of taking off my gloves to type as I roam the Quadrilatero della Moda scouting the best footwear, is just too painful. So since pictures tell a thousand words, I’ve decided to write as little as possible while I defrost and down a quick caffe latte at the Four Seasons Hotel.
My only purchase thus far, is this gorgeous patent red Lady Brera shoe from Fratelli Rossetti. I’ve had my eye on it since last September and now, I got it on sale!
I want to walk away with one studded pair and this pink Valentino shoe is a strong candidate.
My next stop was Rene Caovilla in Via Bagutta where every pair is designed and produced for princesses with the generous use of Swarovski crystals, lace and beads….
Then, at Casadei on the corner Via Sant’ Andrea, I found this spectacular, unforgettable leopard-spotted pair in black, orange and fuchsia. The inside is leather while the satin exterior is covered in Swarovski crystals.
This woven, blue Guido Pasquali pair is pretty cool…
And finally, I adore these chunky Lezilla sling-back sandals…
