A jacket a day keeps the winter chill away

I am jetting off to Turkey tomorrow – my first ‘vacation only’ trip in two whole years! Now Istanbul may not be the fashion capital, but I hear that I will go crazy for the leather clothes and bags. And while most of my friends have requested decadent rose-flavoured Turkish Delight, a few deserve nothing less than special leather wallets and purses too.

So while I will be soaking up the sun during my last two days at a coastal resort in Antalya, my bags will already be stuffed with soft, leathery jackets, pencil skirts and more. The challenge will be to find hot items in colours that I don’t already own since I do have a closet spilling with cute cropped jackets and sexy biker jackets in just about every colour to take me through the week. For this photo shoot, I wore divine leather-look jeggings from Woolworths (which by the way has certainly upped their fashion game) and a tiny leather-look and stretch panel skirt which I bought online from Zando.
