ROSSOprezioso; ultra-glam, ultra-lightweight ‘Made in Italy’ jewellery

When Roberta Romoli, one of the co-founders of this jewellery brand, invited me to view the collection of ROSSOprezioso jewels at the flagship boutique in Milan’s Via Fiori Chiari, I had no idea that I was about to try on some of the most lightweight pieces I’ve ever worn – so light that it was easy to forget that I was wearing anything at all.

A myriad of vibrant colours lay spread out in front of us, and like a kid in a candy store, I took selfies while dripping with embellishments crafted from crystal, acetate, wood and enamel. The best part, being ornately bejewelled for hours didn’t stretch my earlobes :-)

A chunkier piece whose busy appearance is deceptive of its light weight.

I fell so head-over-heels in love with ROSSOprezioso jewels that I just had to take some samples back home to South Africa where Solomons Fashion & Décor stores now stock the brand.

If you’re thinking of adding some of these ultra-lightweight jewels – which are also ultra convenient for travelling – to your collection, visit the ROSSOprezioso website to shop online or visit the boutique in the Brera design district, via Fiori Chiari 16.
